Estos montajes visuales pretenden ser una mirada llena de esperanza de cómo me gustaría que fuera Madrid, esperanza no exenta de utopía, pues la realidad no para de darnos verdaderos puñetazos a esa quimera de ver una ciudad para las personas, una ciudad donde se pueda respirar, andar y jugar, vivir respirando aire limpio y creatividad, en donde se pueda escuchar el sonido de los pájaros y los diálogos casi susurrados de las personas en las plazas, donde los árboles llenen los espacios donde un día ya pasado se encontraban los coches aparcados.
But the city is not alone, every day we are building together, and unfortunately a vast majority likes it that way, with traffic and noisy, unhealthy, dangerous, there are few who are really conscious of that therein lies the change to make a livable city. Politicians, architects, urban planners have tools and some power to change anything but the real strength is in the people and their ways of inhabiting the space where they live, without that force can never make any changes.
So with this spirit that I have made these mounts that hopefully! were sketches of a reality close in time.
They can see the Main Street Opera House, the Gan Vía, Calle Alcalá, the Carrera de San Jerónimo, next to the Cortes, the Nuns, the Prado-Recoletos, near the Bank of Spain and many more.
